WASTE NOT, LLC-COMPOSTING SERVICE.
Picture

WASTE NOT, LLC is a service to divert household kitchen waste from going to landfills. It is composted at local participating farms. As a client you can receive a bucket of compost monthly to use in your lawn or gardens.

Food waste is the last component in  recycling. It makes up nearly 30% of what is in landfills. In landfills it rots and produces methane gas which is the number one contributor to climate change. When composted with the proper amounts of carbon material and oxygen, it makes a beautiful nutrient dense humus that adds life to soil.
Farmers need compost to grow healthy crops. Compost helps to eliminate their need on chemical fertilizers. When compost is used on fields, less water is needed for irrigation. Crops better able to fight off disease and will have a higher yield.
We service Ozaukee County, Sheboygan County, North Eastern Waukesha County, Eastern Washington County and Milwaukee County.

Waste Not, LLC specializes in residential service. Our goal is to educate that every little bit adds up! Together we can make a huge impact and create some awesome compost to share!

We turn your scraps and spoiled food into a soil amendment that farmers and gardeners use to grow healthy vegetables. It is just as good for flowers, shrubs and grass.

How does the service work?

We provide you with a 5 gallon bucket with a lid. You put all your table scraps and spoiled foods into it. Once a week we come out and collect your filled bucket and leave you with a clean one.

When will my service be?

You will be assigned a service day once you sign up. This is a weekly service.
How much does         The service is only $4 per week. At Waste
service cost?                  Not, we are trying to encourage residents
to divert their food waste and to
remind them that it is highly probable
that this may become mandatory in the
                                             near future.
